Job summary

Industrious in Amsterdam is seeking a Member Experience Associate to welcome members and guests and deliver exceptional service. You will manage daily tasks from coffee and breakfast prep to stocking common areas and assisting with events.

You will also help members with IT issues, onboarding into systems, and representing Industrious at local marketing events. Fluency in Dutch and hospitality experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Dutch and 2+ years in hospitality.
• Ability to lift up to 12 kg and stand for long periods.
• Full-time, on-site 40 hours/week in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as the first face they meet.
• Prepare coffee and breakfast; keep common areas stocked.
• Support events and design signage for in-house branding and experience.
• Assist members with IT or wifi issues as needed.
• Input new members into multiple systems for a smooth first day.
• Assist with local marketing events to showcase Industrious solutions.

As a Member Experience Associate, you are the welcoming heart and soul of our Amsterdam location. Your daily mission is to craft exceptional experiences for every member and guest who walks through our doors. No two days are identical, but here is a glimpse of what your day could look like:

Your workplace is our reception - making you the first person our members see.

• You prepare for the workday by preparing coffee and breakfast and keeping the common areas well-stocked at all times.
• You support building magnificent events and take the extra time to design unique signage because you know the magic is in the details.
• You add new members into multiple systems so their first day in their office is seamless and memorable.
• You assist a member with IT or wifi issues should they ever come up - no job is too big or too small for you to tackle.
• You dip your toe in local marketing events - ensuring any prospective member knows the true value of our flexible solutions.
• You take a walk in-tour while your Member Experience Manager is assisting another potential member.

Requirements:

• Performing recurring tasks that require regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects (up to 12 kg).
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stretch, and walk for extended periods.
• Operating various devices and machines, including printers, dishwashers, blenders, snack carts, knives, and other kitchen utensils.
• Assisting with food preparation and cleaning work, strictly adhering to all applicable health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ensuring a hygienically perfect working environment at all times and consistently implementing all safety and hygiene protocols.
• Fluency in Dutch
• 2+ years experience in hospitality background
• This role is a full-time role with 40 hours/week performed on-site five days a week. Candidates should live in or within easy reach of the city specified for this role.
