Job summary

Space to Create in Utrecht is looking for an enthusiastic Reservations Assistant to join our new location. You will be the primary contact for guests and tenants, ensuring our meeting center looks its best and that reservations are handled with care.

Working hours from 08:30 to 17:00, you will schedule, manage and follow up reservations, handle breakfasts, lunches and drinks, and maintain strong contact with regular customers. A warm, service-oriented role in a bustling, welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, events, or a flexible service environment.
• Experience with reservations is a plus.
• Has commercial insight and knows how to retain customers.
• Dutch and English fluency required.
• Flexible and able to switch ad-hoc without losing composure.

Responsibilities

• Receive customers with professional hospitality and guide them.
• Schedule, manage and follow up reservations.
• Ensure booking is arranged from A to Z, including breakfast, lunch, and drinks.
• Respond to phone calls and emails with enthusiasm and punctuality.
• Maintain contact with regular customers.
• Ensure a smooth handover to evening colleagues.

At Space to Create, we offer full-service workspaces, meeting spaces, and offices in the heart of Utrecht. You'll ensure our meeting center always looks its best, welcome guests with a smile, and handle reservations meticulously. Your commercial acumen will ensure reservations are processed efficiently and seamlessly. You'll work from 08:30 AM to 17:00 PM and enjoy a varied role.

• Receive customers with professional hospitality and guide them
• Schedule, manage and follow up reservations
• Ensuring that the booking is arranged from A to Z, from breakfast and lunch to drinks
• Respond to phone calls and emails with enthusiasm and punctuality
• Maintaining contact with our regular customers
• Ensuring a smooth handover to evening colleagues

Our ideal colleague has:

• Experience in hospitality, events, or a flexible service environment. Hospitality experience is a plus.
• Experience with reservations is a plus;
• Has commercial insight and knows how to retain customers;
• Has MBO or HBO level, through education or experience;
• Can switch ad-hoc without losing composure;
• Has a good command of Dutch and English;
• Is flexible.
