Job summary

Space to Create in Utrecht is seeking a hospitality-focused colleague to be the face of our location. You will welcome guests, set up spaces for meetings, and maintain a warm, energetic environment.

You work 40 hours per week (08:00–16:30), with a varied role from opening the location to arranging lunches and keeping facilities in top condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, facility management, or another service-oriented environment (preferred).
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Opening the location together with colleagues.
• Welcoming guests with a smile and coffee.
• Setting up and maintaining spaces for meetings, events, and training.
• Ensuring the meeting center always looks presentable.
• Placing orders and managing inventory.
• Providing lunches for customers.
• Checking facilities are functioning properly.
• Handing over your shift to evening colleagues.

About the feature

As a Hospitality employee, you are the face of our location. With your genuine attention and positive energy, you ensure that everyone feels welcome. Guests, tenants, and flex workers want for nothing and experience a high level of service.

You typically work from 08:00 to 16:30 in a versatile role where no day is the same!

This is what you will be doing, among other things:

• Opening the location together with colleagues
• Welcoming guests with a smile and a good cup of coffee
• Setting up and maintaining our creative spaces (for various meetings, events, and training)
• Ensuring that the meeting center always looks presentable
• Placing orders and managing inventory
• Providing lunches for customers
• Check if facilities are functioning properly
• Carefully hand over your shift to the evening colleagues

This is what you bring with you:

• Experience in hospitality, facility management, or another service-oriented environment (preferred)
• MBO or HBO working and thinking level
• You are flexible, presentable, and stress-resistant.
• You switch gears quickly without losing your composure.
• Good command of the Dutch and English language

Furthermore, it is important that you:

• Available 40 hours per week
• Positive, energetic and service-oriented
• You are a real team player
