Job summary

EDGE Workspaces in Amsterdam is seeking a brand ambassador at reception to welcome members and guests, manage arrivals, and keep spaces in top shape. You’ll handle mail, calls, intercom inquiries, assist with bookings, and resolve issues promptly to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.

You will connect people across teams, promote events, and maintain a positive image of the location, with fluency in Dutch and English. Internship compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-of-house or reception environments.
• Strong customer-service mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate the reception and be the first point of contact for visitors.
• Deliver excellent experiences for members and guests in every interaction.

As our brand ambassador at reception, you’ll welcome members and guests, manage arrivals, and keep workspaces and meeting rooms in top shape.
You’ll handle mail, calls, and intercom inquiries, assist with bookings, and resolve issues quickly. Your proactive approach ensures a smooth, welcoming experience for everyone.

• Operating the reception and being the first point of contact for people entering the building
• Giving members the best possible experience in every interaction.
• Connecting people, setting-up interactions, and cross-company collaborations.
• Maintain daily communication with operating partners.
• Mail, telephone and intercom handling.
• Making sure the location is well maintained and representable.
• Support on- and offboarding processes.
• Dealing with complaints in a correct and timely manner.
• Promoting community events.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with members and addressing their needs properly.
• Capable of leading a team, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules and responsibilities efficiently.
• Ambassador for the brand. You have a positive, inspiring and social attitude.
• Love to help. You have a hands-on, pro-active approach to work.
• Ownership. Sense of responsibility and a problem-solving approach to complaints and issues
