Job summary

Industrious seeks a hands-on Member Experience Associate to create great days for members in our Amsterdam offices. You will be the friendly face at reception, manage snacks, coffee, and common areas, and support events to build community.

You will handle inventory, assist with IT issues, and help members understand our flexible workspace solutions. A proactive, team-oriented mindset is essential for daily success.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused hospitality experience or willingness to learn in a fast-paced office environment.
• Able to lift and move items up to 12 kg and stand for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication to support colleagues and members.
• Proactive approach to inventory, supplies, and basic event setup.
• Attention to cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in the reception area, serving as the first friendly point of contact.
• Prepare coffee and breakfast essentials and keep common areas stocked throughout the day.
• Manage location supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed.
• Design signage and help organize events to enhance the member experience.
• Assist members with IT or wifi issues and escalate as necessary.
• Support local marketing efforts by informing prospective members about services.
• Participate in facility tours and ensure a welcoming environment.

As a Member Experience Associate at Industrious, you will be the heart of the member experience, truly aiming to create great days for all who enter your office. While your day may not look the same, here's what it could look like:

• Your workplace is our reception - making you the first person our members see.
• You prepare for the workday by preparing coffee and breakfast and keeping the common areas well-stocked at all times.
• You’re proactive and take ownership over managing inventory and ordering your location’s supplies.
• You build magnificent events and take the extra time to design unique signage because you know the magic is in the details.
• You add new members into multiple systems so their first day in their office is seamless and memorable.
• You assist a member with IT or wifi issues should they ever come up - no job is too big or too small for you to tackle.
• You dip your toe in local marketing events - ensuring any prospective member knows the true value of our flexible solutions.
• You take a walk in-tour while your Member Experience Manager is assisting another potential member.

Requirements:

• Performing recurring tasks that require regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects (up to 12 kg).
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stretch, and walk for extended periods.
• Operating various devices and machines, including printers, dishwashers, blenders, snack carts, knives, and other kitchen utensils.
• Assisting with food preparation and cleaning work, strictly adhering to all applicable health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ensuring a hygienically perfect working environment at all times and consistently implementing all safety and hygiene protocols.

This role is a full-time role with 40 hours/week performed on-site five days a week. Candidates should live in or within easy reach of the city specified for this role.
