Job summary

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Maintenance Engineer Troubleshooter for our new Sassenheim site to support startup and ensure reliable manufacturing. You will lead troubleshooting, organize technicians and vendors, and coordinate preventive maintenance with the Leiden campus team.

The role requires a Engineering degree and 3–7 years in pharma, with strong English and Dutch communication preferences. The position offers broad responsibility, opportunities to implement improvements, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and technical subjects or at least a post-secondary vocational (MBO-4) education in Engineering and Technical subjects (electrical, instrumentation or mechanical) with 3-7 years work experience in pharmaceutical or equivalent industry.
• Hands-on experience with various types of equipment in an industrial, factory environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers on professional level up to departmental management, in English and preferably in Dutch.
• Excellent computer proficiency e.g. MS Office, CMMS (SAP).
• Familiar with root cause analysis (RCA) tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting tasks on equipment and utilities to avoid downtime.
• Coordinate and implement corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with client/stakeholders to inform on status of maintenance activities, determine priorities and manage expectations.
• Support root cause problem solving using RCA techniques.
• Examine technical reports to identify opportunities to improve outcomes and support implementation of improvements.
• Own and share the technical knowledge of assets and procedures.
