Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Sassenheim, Netherlands, seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer Troubleshooter for a newly commissioned biotech facility. You will troubleshoot equipment, coordinate technicians and vendors, and support the maintenance department during the early operations phase.

The role requires an engineering degree with 3–7 years in pharma or regulated environments, strong RCA skills, English and Dutch communication, and proficiency in CMMS/SAP.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent with relevant pharma/regulatory experience.
• Strong communication in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CMMS (SAP) for maintenance planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• May independently lead troubleshooting tasks on equipment and utilities to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Prioritize maintenance activities based on equipment criticality and customer input.
• Liaise with client/stakeholders to inform on status of maintenance activities and manage expectations.
• Lead root cause problem solving using RCA techniques.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on maintenance practices.
