Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in the Netherlands is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Troubleshooter for a newly commissioned site in Sassenheim. The role involves troubleshooting equipment, coordinating J&J technicians, vendors and peer engineers, and organizing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime during the initial phase.

You will work with the main Leiden maintenance team, but your focus remains on the Sassenheim site to ensure it receives the required support in this early operational period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 3-7 years in pharma/manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with industrial equipment in a factory setting
• English, Dutch preferred; strong communication with internal/external customers

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting tasks on equipment and utilities to minimize downtime
• Coordinate and organize technicians, vendors and peer maintenance engineers
• Manage preventive maintenance and drive continuous improvements
• Define spare parts strategy and ensure timely maintenance deliverables
• Liaise with stakeholders to align priorities and customer expectations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
