Job summary

Swapfiets is seeking a Logistics Lead for the Delft/Den Hoorn warehouse. You will manage a logistics team, oversee SAP-based processes, and drive efficient warehouse operations while maintaining safety and service excellence.

You will lead up to 8 staff, coordinate monthly movement of up to 100 crafters, and ensure accurate stock levels with ADR-compliant battery handling. A hands-on leader who loves bikes will thrive here.

• Experience leading a logistics team.
• Experience in logistics, distribution or related industry.
• Ability to translate data into decisions.
• Available to work full-time.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Fluent in English; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of up to 8 logistics employees, including Logistic Operators and Logistic Coordinators.
• Coordinate movement of up to 100 crafters per month to stores and coordinate transportation routing.
• Drive use of SAP and S&OE processes, including truck planning and inbound/outbound deliveries of spare parts.
• Ensure stock levels are accurate in the system and conduct regular stock counts.
• Handle all reverse logistics including pickups from municipality depots.
• Ensure safe/battery movement through ADR containers.
• Fulfill Logistics Operator duties as needed to support the floor.

The Logistics Lead is responsible for managing the logistics team to deliver an outstanding warehouse experience. This role combines hands-on operational execution with people leadership, process control, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable business performance. Own the day-to-day success of the logistics of our warehouse by leading people, bikes, and processes to create a safe, fun, and seamless experience for the business and team every single day.
How you pedal us forward!

• Manage and mentor a team of up to 8 logistics employees, including Logistic Operators and Logistic Coordinators
• Manage the movement of up to 100 crafters per month to and from stores and act as the primary point of contact for stores coordination and transportation routing
• Drive the use of SAP and S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) processes, including overseeing truck planning and inbound/outbound deliveries of spare parts
• Ensure highly accurate stock levels within the system and physically organize regular stock counts
• Responsible for all reverse logistics including picking up bikes at the municipality depots
• Ensure safe and compliant battery movement through ADR containers
• Fulfill foundational Logistics Operator duties as needed to support the floor

• You have experience leading and developing a team, ideally a diverse team with different nationalities.
• You have relevant experience in logistics, distribution or a similar industry.
• You know how to coach and inspire colleagues.
• You are available full-time.
• You know how to translate data, and make data driven decisions.
• You have a working understanding of SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You speak fluent English (Dutch is a plus).
• You are passionate about bikes and micro-mobility.
