Job summary

Swapfiets in Delft seeks a Logistics Lead to drive warehouse excellence and lead a team of up to eight logistics staff. You will coordinate store transport, optimize stock, and ensure safety and efficiency across all logistics processes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a data-driven mindset, and strong English communication (Dutch a plus). SAP experience is essential, with a dynamic, bike‑friendly workplace on offer.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a logistics team of up to 8 people.
• Coordinate movement of goods and transport routing for stores.
• Oversee SAP and S&OE processes and inbound/outbound deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and perform regular stock counts.
• Manage reverse logistics, including bike pickups at depots.
• Ensure safe and compliant battery movement via ADR containers.
• Fulfill basic Logistics Operator duties as needed.

The Logistics Lead is responsible for managing the logistics team to deliver an outstanding warehouse experience. This role combines hands‑on operational execution with people leadership, process control, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable business performance. Own the day‑to‑day success of the logistics of our warehouse by leading people, bikes, and processes to create a safe, fun, and seamless experience for the business and team every single day.

How you pedal us forward!

• Manage and mentor a team of up to 8 logistics employees, including Logistic Operators and Logistic Coordinators
• Manage the movement of up to 100 crafters per month to and from stores and act as the primary point of contact for stores coordination and transportation routing
• Drive the use of SAP and S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) processes, including overseeing truck planning and inbound/outbound deliveries of spare parts
• Ensure highly accurate stock levels within the system and physically organize regular stock counts
• Responsible for all reverse logistics including picking up bikes at the municipality depots
• Ensure safe and compliant battery movement through ADR containers
• Fulfill foundational Logistics Operator duties as needed to support the floor

• You have experience leading and developing a team, ideally a diverse team with different nationalities.
• You have relevant experience in logistics, distribution or a similar industry.
• You know how to coach and inspire colleagues.
• You are available full‑time.
• You know how to translate data, and make data driven decisions.
• You have a working understanding of SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• You speak fluent English (Dutch is a plus).
• You are passionate about bikes and micro‑mobility.
