The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting end-to-end European inbound logistics operations, with a focus on import customs clearance coordination, warehouse put-away, inventory counting, and logistics billing verification and reconciliation.

This role works closely with freight forwarders, internal teams, warehouse partners, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth and compliant goods importation, accurate warehouse inventory management, and timely logistics settlement, supporting stable supply chain operations across the European region.

1. European Import Customs Clearance & Warehouse Put-away
  • Support and coordinate the import process for goods entering European countries and regions, including preparation and follow-up of customs clearance documents and related import procedures.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse partners, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth customs clearance and inbound delivery.
  • Follow up on customs clearance progress, inspections, duties and taxes, and other import-related matters in accordance with applicable local regulations.
  • Coordinate inbound goods receiving, inspection, and warehouse put-away operations.
  • Verify incoming goods quantity, packaging, batch information, and related shipping documents to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Ensure imported goods are received and put away into designated warehouse locations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain relevant warehouse inbound and logistics operation records.
2. Inventory Count Management
  • Organize and support regular warehouse inventory counting for European warehouse stocks.
  • Prepare inventory counting plans and clarify the counting scope, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct or coordinate physical stock checks and reconcile physical inventory with system inventory records.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify possible causes, including documentation issues, warehouse operation errors, or system data differences.
  • Prepare inventory reports and record abnormal inventory issues.
  • Follow up on corrective actions to improve the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of warehouse inventory data.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile logistics-related invoices, including freight, customs clearance, warehousing, storage, and other logistics service charges.
  • Match logistics bills with corresponding shipment records, warehouse operation records, and agreed service terms.
  • Check the accuracy and reasonableness of logistics charges and identify billing discrepancies or abnormal items.
  • Follow up with logistics suppliers, Finance, and relevant internal teams to resolve outstanding or disputed billing items.
  • Support regular logistics expense reconciliation, settlement, financial closing, and cost accounting activities.
  • Prepare standardized reconciliation records and reports as required.
4. Daily Logistics Operations & Document Management
  • Organize and maintain import customs documentation, warehousing records, inventory reports, and logistics billing reconciliation documents.
  • Track daily inbound logistics operations and monitor shipment, customs clearance, warehouse receiving, and billing status.
  • Identify and follow up on operational issues in customs clearance, warehousing, and billing processes.
  • Coordinate closely with internal Finance, Procurement, and business teams, as well as external freight forwarders, warehouse partners, customs brokers, and logistics service providers.
  • Support standardized and efficient logistics operations across the European business.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant working experience in international logistics, supply chain, import operations, or a related field.
  • Experience with European import customs clearance and warehouse operations is preferred.
Professional Skills
  • Familiar with European import customs clearance processes, related documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Familiar with warehouse receiving, put-away, inventory management, and stock reconciliation processes.
  • Experience in logistics billing verification, reconciliation, and logistics expense checking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with WMS and/or ERP systems is preferred.
  • Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with overseas teams, freight forwarders, warehouse partners, and service providers.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented, with strong data awareness.
  • Strong time-management and execution skills, with the ability to complete periodic inventory and billing reconciliation tasks on schedule.
  • Good cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability when handling logistics operational issues.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and follow standardized operational processes.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to accuracy.
