Job summary

Thundersoft is seeking an on-site IDC technician to perform 7×24 and 5×8 duties in Rotterdam, Netherlands. You will respond to incidents, process work orders, and ensure SLA compliance while maintaining IDC monitoring and risk assessment protocols.

The role requires familiarity with data center environments, SOPs, and basic IT equipment knowledge, plus strong communication, teamwork, and self-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform 7×24 and 5×8 IDC on-site duties per Client requirements.
• Respond to incidents and execute work orders meeting SLA requirements.
• Familiar with IDC environment, monitor systems, and identify risks; handle emergencies per EOP and document data.
• Master SOP workflows, complete work orders with zero errors, and support site surveys, minor construction, and issue reporting.

Job description

1. Perform 7×24 and 5×8 IDC (Internet Data Center) on-site duties as per Client requirements.

2. Respond to incidents and execute work orders, including temporary tasks, in accordance with service SLA requirements.

3. Be familiar with IDC environment and monitoring systems, proactively identifying and assessing risks through routine inspections. Handle emergency incidents swiftly and accurately following EOP processes, ensuring proper incident data recording and preliminary report output.

4. Be proficient in the ticketing system, master SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) workflows, and strictly adhere to them. Independently complete all work orders while ensuring zero errors and meeting SLA compliance rates. 5. Have a thorough understanding of IDC equipment, including switches, servers, cables, and installation, racking, deployment, and maintenance standards. Execute site surveys, on-site support, minor construction, and issue reporting as required.

Educational Background:
