Job summary

Centre People Appointments in Amsterdam is recruiting an IT Support Specialist for a well-known Japanese company. You will support approximately 30 local users, act as the primary contact for IT issues, and coordinate with an external IT vendor to ensure timely resolution.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in IT help desk or desktop support, strong English, and the ability to liaise between non-technical users and external specialists.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in IT help desk or desktop support
• Experience coordinating with external IT vendors
• Business level English required
• Japanese knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT support for ~30 local users
• Triage desktop issues and coordinate troubleshooting with the external IT vendor
• Keep employees updated on service requests and follow up until resolution
• Coordinate device setup, access permissions, user accounts, Microsoft 365 and MDM with the vendor
• Log and track requests, escalate issues as needed and keep records up to date
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and support IT-related projects or reporting
