Job summary

GEP Amsterdam is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure team in the Amsterdam office. You will manage and resolve IT issues, support local and global operations, and assist with corporate team activities.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in IT support, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent English communication. Dutch is a plus; onboarding and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• 1–2 years of IT support or similar role.
• Strong understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Quick learner with attention to detail, punctuality and proactive mindset.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and contribute to projects aligning technology with business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the IT SPOC for the Amsterdam office and coordinate with global IT support.
• Handle and resolve IT infrastructure tickets across OS, hardware, apps, and networking.
• Build and configure desktop hardware to department standards.
• Provide end-user support including for senior management.
• Maintain security compliance across end-user systems.
• Manage IT asset inventory and IMAC processes with asset management.
• Coordinate procurement and logistics for laptops and peripherals for EU regions.
• Support end-user computing projects aligned with business goals.
