Job summary

Excis Compliance is seeking an onsite IT Resident Engineer L2 in Amsterdam to deliver local and remote desktop support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and applications, and ensure timely resolutions.

You’ll work closely with end-users and IT teams, maintain ticket updates, and document root causes while meeting SLAs. Strong Windows 7/10, Office 365, AD/GPO, and mobile device management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid technical skills with strong Windows 7/10 and Office 365 experience.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and GPOs.
• Hands-on PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with enterprise antivirus solutions and helpdesk ticketing systems.
• Experience with mobile device management.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day local and remote desktop support.
• Resolve hardware, software, and application issues; document in ticketing system.
• Own customer issues; ensure rapid resolution.
• Perform fault analysis for OS and platforms.
• Troubleshoot a suite of approved applications.
• Collaborate with vendors on AV issues.
• Keep users updated on status and resolution.
• Maintain meticulous ticket updates for all incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot software/hardware (Windows 7/10, Office 365, Cisco Jabber, printers).
• Provide support for Mac users.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
• Manage and support mobile devices.
• Thrive in a project-based team environment.
