Job summary

Selby Jennings in Amsterdam is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its modern Microsoft-focused technology team. You will provide hands-on 1st and 2nd line support to users across office, remote, and hybrid environments, ensuring secure and reliable digital experiences.

The role emphasizes cloud-first support, onboarding/offboarding, licensing, MFA, and automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Power Automate, with opportunities to contribute to ITIL processes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT Support or service desk roles.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and modern workplace solutions.
• Knowledge of Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, and access administration.
• Basic networking concepts including VPN and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and mobile devices.
• Strong customer service skills for technical and non-technical users.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication skills.
• ITIL familiarity and ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
• PowerShell scripting or IT automation exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line end-user support across office, remote, and hybrid locations.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID, Intune, and printers.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, licensing, MFA, and permissions.
• Support networking and connectivity issues including VPN and Wi‑Fi.
• Contribute to endpoint security, identity management, and cybersecurity incidents.
• Escalate complex issues to senior teams when needed.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
• Assist with automation initiatives using PowerShell and Power Automate.
• Support ITIL-based service management and continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in root cause analysis and major incident reviews.
