Job summary

MUFG Bank (Europe) N.V. (MBE) in Amsterdam is seeking an IT On‑Site Support Engineer to join the IT Service Delivery team. You will support IT applications, infrastructure and hardware, and lead minor IT projects, coordinating with branches across Belgium, Madrid, Austria and others.

The role requires 4+ years in systems support, strong ServiceNow knowledge, and English communication. Dutch language is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Systems Support Engineering role.
• Experience with incident, request fulfilment and change processes.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Windows client/server OS, Office, and IT security.
• Banking experience a plus; Dutch language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT On-Site Support Team activities and other IT Service Delivery tasks.
• Lead minor IT projects.
• Identify and diagnose issues and problems.
• Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions.
• Support problem identification and resolution and advise users on actions.
• Monitor issues from start to resolution and maintain CMDB.
• Handle service requests via standard work instructions.
• Contribute to day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure and applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for daily operations.
• Ensure procedures manuals are updated and team members are informed.
• Support IT-related changes/projects in production.
• Ensure compliance with bank rules, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support local IT-service staff in branches.
