Job summary

Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam is seeking a Front Office Intern to learn day-to-day hotel operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will work alongside an experienced team and gain hands-on exposure to check-ins, guest information, and service recovery.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism or related field.
• Enjoy interacting with people and delivering great guest experiences.
• Proactive, organized and eager to learn; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs.
• Support guests during their stay and provide information about the hotel and local area.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Assist with Front Office administration and daily tasks.
• Respond to online guest reviews and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Support cash handling and end-of-shift procedures.
• Manage Lost & Found requests and follow up with guests.
• Assist with the night audit process and other reporting tasks.
• Identify upselling opportunities and contribute to enhancing the guest experience.
