Job summary

Mouser Electronics, Inc. in Eindhoven is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the team. You will process orders, quotes and assist customers with catalog information while upholding Mouser values.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service, strong communication in Dutch and English, and proficiency in MS Office. Additional language skills are a plus. The position is based in Eindhoven with a one-year contract and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong ability and desire to provide excellent customer service and to promote and maintain high standards of quality.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; additional knowledge of French and/or German language would be a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with other systems are a plus.
• Understands and able to correctly work with multiple currencies and other requirements with regard to processing international orders.
• Exhibits strong analytical skills, problem solving and negotiation skills, and analyzes the impact of decisions before execution.
• Demonstrates profound planning and organization skills and works very structured.

Responsibilities

• Provides highest level of service to customers by processing orders, quotes and assisting with catalog information.
• Generates new and repeat business through customer service initiatives.
• Accurately processes customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns with a focus on service excellence.
• Follows up with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and resolve concerns.
• Provides information regarding availability of in-stock and out-of-stock items.
• Cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and promote associated products.
• Researches and expedites customer orders.
• Monitors delivery dates and product quality to meet requirements; verifies orders.
• Confirms special handling orders are expedited.
• Fills requests for catalogs, information or samples.
• Supports local Customer Service teams and other teams when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
