Job summary

Leads.io is seeking an experienced Interim Head of HR Operations to cover a 6-month maternity leave. The role is hands-on and highly operational, yet requires strategic thinking to keep HR processes robust across our Netherlands and Toronto hubs and broader European footprint.

You will own end-to-end employee lifecycle, payroll compliance, data quality, and HR systems (HiBob), while partnering with managers to deliver practical, compliant people programs.

Qualifications

• Proven interim or senior HR experience across multiple countries.
• Operational mindset with hands-on delivery and strategic thinking.
• Experience with multi-country payroll and labor law considerations (NL, UK, Canada).
• Experience with HRIS data quality, reporting, and system continuity.
• Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance, offboarding.
• Act as HR partner to managers across regions, addressing people-related challenges.
• Advise on organizational design, structure, and resource optimization.
• Safeguard compensation and benefits frameworks across regions.
• Ensure HR processes are compliant and consistent across NL, Toronto, and broader Europe.
