HR Generalist – Interim (Maternity Leave)
Set Up: Onsite 5 days a week.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join an international team and support employees and managers across Europe and the Americas. This is an interim position to cover maternity leave, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
You will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding and providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and systems. This role requires a hands‑on professional who enjoys both operational and strategic aspects of HR and is eager to take ownership of various HR processes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle: contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and documentation.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR‑related queries.
- Maintain and update employee records in compliance with GDPR and company standards.
- Coordinate leave and absence administration, including sickness and parental leave.
- Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Administer payroll changes, benefits, insurance, and pension coordination across multiple countries.
- Lead and participate in HR projects focused on process improvement, engagement, and compliance.
- Serve as a Workday super user, supporting system implementation and optimization.
- Conduct HR reporting, salary benchmarking, and policy updates as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance HR processes and ensure best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role within an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, social security, and HR compliance across European countries.
- Experience with Workday (implementation experience is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and German (DACH).
- Independent, proactive, and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
