Job summary

Westlake Epoxy in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to temporarily cover maternity leave from November for roughly nine months. The role supports both Rotterdam and Pernis sites, with 24–32 hours per week and broad autonomy across HR activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law.
• Experience with absence management, WIA cases and the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter.

Responsibilities

• Advising and coaching managers on all HR-related matters.
• Partnering with management and directors on organizational change and workforce planning.
• Supporting the closure process of the Pernis production site.
• Managing absence, reintegration and WIA-related cases.
• Supporting the Works Council and coordinating consultation and approval processes.
• Managing the employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.
• Providing guidance on employment law, compensation & benefits and HR policies.
• Driving HR projects and collaborating with Payroll, Finance, Legal and international HR teams.
