Tandoori Aan Zee aan de Nederlandse kust in Westkapelle zoekt een zelfstandige Independent Working Chef-I. Je bereidt lunch en diner uit de Indiase keuken en voert mise en place en voorbereidende taken uit terwijl je de HACCP-regels toepast.

Je bewaakt de kwaliteit en presentatie, beheert voorraad en werkt samen met keukenassistenten. Het salaris volgens CAO Horeca bedraagt €2.700–€3.200 bruto per maand, met verschillende diensten en een prettige werkomgeving.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau 3 diploma vereist.
• Aantoonbare kennis van basis kooktechnieken.
• In staat zelfstandig te werken.
• Goede stressbestendigheid en teamspeler.
• Beheersing van Nederlands of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare lunch and dinner dishes from the Indian cuisine.
• Carry out mise en place and other preparatory tasks (cutting, mixing, portioning).
• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
• Apply and comply with HACCP and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, and checking products.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces.
• Contribute ideas for recipes, menu updates, and more efficient processes.
• Supporting and managing the kitchen assistants.

We are looking for 4 Independent working Chef-I for our restaurant.

Your Role: Independent working chef -I

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Independently prepare lunch and dinner dishes from the Indian cuisine

• Carry out mise en place and other preparatory tasks (cutting, mixing, portioning)

• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes

• Apply and comply with HACCP and safety regulations

• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, and checking products

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces

• Contribute ideas for recipes, menu updates, and more efficient processes

• Supporting and managing the kitchen assistants.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Holds an MBO level 3 diploma work and thinking level.

• Someone who has demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques

• Shows initiative and can work independently

• Can handle stress and peak busy periods effectively

• Functions well within the dynamics of a restaurant team

• Speaks Dutch or English

• Is enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to learn
