Job summary

Rasamayi Foods zoekt 8 gemotiveerde onafhankelijke Chef-I voor twee locaties (Eindhoven en Almere). Verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig bereiden van lunch en diner, mise en place en naleving van HACCP-voorschriften, met aandacht voor kwaliteit en presentatie.

Wij bieden CAO-salaris tussen €2.800 en €3.200, interne trainingen en een plezierige werkomgeving.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau 3 diploma vereist.
• Aantoonbare kennis van basistechnieken koken.
• Initiatief tonen en zelfstandig kunnen werken.
• Omgaan met stress en piekperiodes.
• Goed functioneren in een restaurantteam.
• Spreekt Nederlands of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Gerechten voor lunch en diner zelfstandig bereiden.
• Mise en place en andere voorbereidende taken uitvoeren.
• Zorgen voor kwaliteit, smaak en presentatie van alle gerechten.
• HACCP- en veiligheidsvoorschriften toepassen.
• Voorraadbeheer: bestellen, ontvangen en controleren van producten.
• Kookapparatuur en werkplekken schoon en onderhouden.
• Ideeën voor gerechten, menu-updates en efficiëntere processen aandragen.
• Toezicht houden op naleving van regelgeving en op het werk van de assistenten.

With our expertise, we offer an extensive menu featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, along with specialties from South Indian, North Indian, Continental, and Telangana-Andhra cuisine.

We are looking for 8 motivated Independent Chef-I for our 2 locations:

Rasamayi Foods, Traverse 5, 1315TJ Almere.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Independently prepare lunch and dinner dishes
• Carry out mise en place and other preparatory tasks (cutting, mixing, portioning)
• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
• Apply and comply with HACCP and safety regulations
• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, and checking products
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces
• Contribute ideas for recipes, menu updates, and more efficient processes
• Supervising compliance with regulations and the work of the assistants.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Holds an MBO level 3 diploma of work and thinking level MBO 3.
• Someone who has demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
• Shows initiative and can work independently
• Can handle stress and peak busy periods effectively
• Functions well within the dynamics of a restaurant team
• Speaks Dutch or English
• Is enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to learn
