Job summary

Sinclair in Almere, Netherlands, is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day IT support for employees at the site and to manage local hardware deployments and asset records.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of IT support experience, working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365, and strong organisational skills. The role includes handling tickets, setting up AV equipment, and supporting a small IT team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
• 1–2 years of IT support experience; internship/helpdesk experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365; basic PC hardware and network troubleshooting.
• Organised and detail-oriented; comfortable maintaining records in spreadsheets or asset systems.
• Patient and service-minded with clear communication for non-technical users.
• Able to lift and move standard IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support at the Almere site.
• Log and escalate tickets; maintain ticketing records.
• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications.
• Set up and check meeting room AV equipment.
• Maintain site IT asset register and hardware lifecycle.
• Track stock, arrange warranty and repairs with vendors.
• Prepare equipment for new joiners and redeploy from leavers.
