Job summary

Medline Europe is seeking an HR Advisor to manage HR Operations for the Benelux and Nordics region from the Netherlands (Utrecht). You will partner with managers, oversee contracts, payroll coordination with an external provider, visa handling, and fleet administration while ensuring legal compliance and process improvements.

You will drive onboarding, absence management, and regional projects, collaborating across HR and business teams, in a role requiring English and Dutch fluency and strong

Qualifications

• 6+ years HR experience in a regional context such as Benelux and Nordics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, proactive initiative, and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication in English and Dutch, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Own full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding for Benelux and Nordics.
• Provide expert support to managers on complex HR topics for the region.
• Manage HR administration: contracts, benefits, taxes, visas and fleet.
• Lead absence processes with the health service provider.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires locally and organize trainings.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws across the regions.
• Assist with payroll cycle in collaboration with external provider and finance.
• Serve as first contact for HR vendors and drive improvements.
• Drive continuous process improvement and standardization.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional HR projects to improve results.
