Job summary

Oikocredit seeks a motivated HR Intern to join the HR Operations team at the Amersfoort head office. You will help with onboarding/offboarding, data management, HR documentation, and analytics, while learning to navigate HR systems and compliance.

The program starts January/February 2027 for six months, offering mentorship and a flexible work-from-home option. You will gain practical experience across employee lifecycle tasks, gain exposure to HR policies, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field in the Netherlands.
• Strong interest in a career in HR.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent in English, working knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Internship allowance provided: €400 gross per month for Bachelor’s; €500 gross per month for Master; based on 40 hours per week; pro rata if hours differ.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support: onboarding and offboarding, data entry, maintaining employee records, preparing documents, and organizing HR-related materials; ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR information.
• Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks; ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist with employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and systems.
• Support reporting and analytics related to HR metrics.
• Stay updated on HR trends: share insights and propose ideas for improving HR processes.
