Job summary

Oikocredit International is seeking a motivated HR Intern to join the HR Operations team at our Amersfoort head office. You will support employee data management, HR systems, process improvements and analytics, gaining practical experience across the employee life cycle.

The role offers mentorship from HR professionals, a 6-month duration starting January/February 2027, and exposure to onboarding, offboarding, and HR policies in a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field in the Netherlands.
• Strong interest in developing a career in HR.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support: onboarding/offboarding, data entry, employee records, documents, and materials.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures and handbooks; ensure legal compliance.
• Assist with employee inquiries regarding HR policies and systems.
• Support reporting and analytics related to HR metrics.
• Stay updated on HR trends and propose process improvements.
