Job summary

Ruby Tessa Rotterdam invites hospitality-minded individuals to join as front desk staff, providing warm welcomes from arrival to departure and assisting guests during self-check-in.

With a Lean Luxury approach and a friendly, team-oriented culture, you will help craft memorable experiences in a dynamic Rotterdam hotel and contribute to a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally gained some experience in the hotel industry; flexibility and readiness to work in shifts.
• Reliability, multitasking ability and willingness to learn.
• Empathy with others and enthusiasm for sharing with those around you.
• A great sense of humour, teamwork spirit and love for interacting with guests.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel at home from arrival to departure.
• Support guests with the self-check-in process and take on additional front desk responsibilities.
• Prepare cocktails, drinks and snacks with skillful moves to provide seamless service.
• Take care of the breakfast buffet in the morning and wow guests with barista skills.
• Manage goods receiving, inspection and storage, maintaining a perfect mise-en-place according to our standards.
• Share insider tips with guests, pointing them to the best hotspots in the city.
