Job summary

Ruby, a fast-growing hospitality group, seeks a shift supervisor to lead service across bar, dining, and front desk. You will ensure quality, train staff, and communicate smoothly within the team, while delivering warm, personalised guest experiences for international guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar hospitality or lifestyle hotel role.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Reliable and able to multitask under pressure.
• Confident, joyful personality with a sense of humour.
• Excellent guest service for international guests.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Actively work in service and lead as shift supervisor, ensuring smooth operations across bar, service, and front office.
• Maintain service, quality, and hygiene standards with attention to detail.
• Train, coach, and onboard new team members.
• Ensure effective internal communications within the team.
• Take guest feedback seriously and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Share insider tips for city hotspots to help guests feel at home from first to last drink.

• flexible and ready to work in shifts

• enjoying working with international, demanding guests and know exactly how to handle their various needs with a smart approach
• speaking fluent Dutch and English
