Job summary

La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 0 Defect Engineering Associate to join our Engineering Department. If you are passionate about maintenance excellence, teamwork, and delivering exceptional guest experiences, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance for guest rooms and hotel equipment, troubleshooting varied systems, completing work orders and reports, and ensuring safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• EPB/EPI or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in maintenance or engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and finishing systems.
• English required.
• Papiamento required.
• Spanish and Dutch are considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for guest rooms and hotel equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and finishing systems safely and efficiently.
• Complete work orders, inspections, logbooks, and reports accurately and on time.
• Ensure maintenance work supports guest satisfaction, safety, and hotel operating standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding tools, materials, and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
