Job summary

Rosewood Amsterdam is seeking a skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is critical for ensuring the luxury environment operates smoothly through effective maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and systems.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring the smooth operation of a luxury hospitality environment.

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the property's facilities, equipment, and systems. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and exceptional environment for both guests and associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues
  • Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Support renovation projects and facility improvements when required
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations
