Job summary

Park Plaza Utrecht, part of PPHE Hotel Group, seeks a Management Intern to act as the right hand to the General Manager. You will support operations, participate in strategic projects, and gain exposure across hotel departments.

This full-time internship runs 5–12 months starting September 2026, with an emphasis on leadership development and guest satisfaction. Applicants should be enrolled in hospitality or hotel management, have strong English communication, and prior hospitality or customer

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership potential in hospitality.
• Experience in guest service and hotel operations is preferred.
• Currently studying hospitality or hotel management.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily operations and strategic activities across departments.
• Assist in preparing management meetings and coordinating team sessions.
• Provide operational support across Front Office, F&B, and Meetings & Events.
• Contribute to improving the guest journey and arrival experience.
• Support quality checks and ensure brand standards are met.
• Assist with projects related to events and hotel performance.
• Engage with guests and colleagues, delivering a professional experience.
• Support sales activities including show-rounds and upselling.
• Demonstrate leadership by supporting department heads with tasks.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and contribute improvement ideas.
