Job summary

Park Plaza Utrecht is offering a Management Intern position to work closely with the General Manager and lead across hotel departments during a 5–12 month internship starting September 2026. This full-time learning experience will expose you to daily management activities and strategic projects in a vibrant city-center setting.

You will gain hands-on leadership development, contribute to guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and team engagement while building cross-department collaboration

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily operations and strategic activities across departments.
• Assist in preparing management meetings, coordinating team sessions, and supporting internal communication.
• Provide operational support across Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Meetings & Events.
• Contribute to improving the guest journey and arrival experience through analysis and ideas.
• Support quality control checks and ensure brand standards are met.
• Assist with projects related to commercial activities, events, and hotel performance.
• Engage with guests and colleagues, delivering a professional and personalized experience.
• Support sales activities including show-rounds, upselling, and promoting outlets.
