GXO Logistics in Lelystad, Netherlands, seeks a Head of Operations to lead a 50 permanent and 100+ flex workforce with end-to-end responsibility for site performance and safety culture. You will balance daily execution with continuous improvement, budget and labour planning, and work with the GXO network to deliver safe, compliant operations while developing leadership talent.

Qualifications

Significant experience in warehouse, logistics or fast-paced operations.
Proven track record of developing leaders and coaching teams.
Strong commitment to health and safety with proactive culture.
Experience owning operational and financial performance, including budgets and cost control.
Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into action on the floor.
Continuous improvement mindset with process standardisation.

Responsibilities

Lead health and safety as the priority across the site.
Oversee daily operational execution ensuring quality, productivity, service and safety.
Own site performance including budgets, labour planning and productivity.
Use KPIs, dashboards and data to identify root causes and drive improvements.
Champion LEAN and standardisation to raise quality and efficiency.
Develop and coach a multi-layered leadership team; build succession plans.
Collaborate with support functions and customers on workload and peak periods.
Maintain robust procedures and compliance; partner with GXO network.
