Job summary

GXO is seeking an experienced HR Manager at the Lelystad site to translate business needs into effective HR strategies and ensure strong execution on the shop floor. You will lead a team of 4 HR professionals and work closely with site leadership to build a high-performing workforce.

You will tackle absenteeism, turnover and leadership development while shaping culture and driving engagement. The role sits at a large logistics hub with a strong health and safety focus and career development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR Business Partner, preferably within logistics.
• Strong leadership experience and ability to develop HR teams.
• Experience addressing absenteeism, turnover and organisational challenges with action.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence both operations and leadership.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Hands-on, pragmatic mindset working close to operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic HR business partner to site leadership and align people strategy with goals.
• Lead and develop your HR team (4 FTE) across the site.
• Drive initiatives to reduce absenteeism and turnover with root-cause analysis.
• Strengthen leadership capability through coaching and development programs.
• Shape and improve site culture, promoting engagement and ownership.
• Support workforce planning, performance, employee relations and OD.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, GXO policies and HR standards.
