Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in the Amsterdam area (Oude Meer) is recruiting a Business Support Manager to drive operations at a brand-new site, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will lead a team of 4 direct and 2 indirect reports across Facilities, Customer Service, and Site Engineering, own KPI reporting and continuous improvement, and partner with HR and Safety to shape a high-performing workplace.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or university degree in a relevant area.
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar operational role.

Responsibilities

Provide operational and client support to help the site perform at the highest level.
Lead a direct team of 4, plus 2 indirect reports, across Facilities, Customer Service, Key User support and Site Engineering, while working with HR, Safety and Operations on systems and processes.
Take responsibility for reporting and controlling departmental KPIs, analysing performance, identifying root causes for variances and closing gaps.
Maintain a clear focus on continuous improvement and process enhancements.
Make day-to-day operational decisions in partnership with the Operations Manager.
