Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Team Leader in the Netherlands to guide a warehouse team in a fast-paced, international setting. You will own operations, coach coordinators and colleagues, and drive safe, high-quality performance across shifts.

The role emphasizes people development, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic GXO BeNe organization across multiple locations, including Heerlen. English proficiency is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• You have led teams within logistics or a similar operational environment.
• You motivate and engage people to achieve goals.
• Strong command of English; Dutch is a plus.
• You are confident using WMS and automation systems.
• You proactively identify improvements and act on them.
• You adapt quickly in a complex, fast-paced setting.
• You can work a 2-shift pattern (06:00–15:00 / 15:00–00:00) with some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of coordinators and warehouse colleagues (FTE & flex).
• Create a positive, safe and high-performing team culture.
• Drive performance through clear communication, coaching and feedback.
• Own daily operations and ensure work is delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.
• Lead start-up meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes — and take action.
• Ensure work instructions and processes stay accurate, consistent and effective.
• Play an active role in people decisions — from hiring to performance and development.
