Job summary

Hotelprofessionals - INK Hotel Amsterdam is seeking a Guest Relations Officer to join our Front Office team. You will be the primary contact for guests, crafting memorable experiences and assisting with check-ins and check-outs while upselling where appropriate.

You will also manage the ALL loyalty program and support daily reports and VIP arrivals. Opera Cloud knowledge is a plus, and fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and helpful personality.
• Flexible availability for morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends.
• MBO degree in hospitality or tourism.
• At least 1 year of Front Office or Guest Relations experience.
• Strong communication in Dutch and English (additional languages a plus).
• Knowledge of PMS systems (Opera) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for guests and ensure a memorable stay.
• Handle VIP arrivals and daily reports; assist Front Desk with check-ins/check-outs.
• Upsell and contribute to revenue through guest services.

The Script

As a Guest Relations Officer at INK Hotel Amsterdam, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our guests. You’ll ensure every guest enjoys a memorable stay, crafting unique experiences and unforgettable moments. With your genuine passion for hospitality, you’ll make every stay INKredible. You’ll be approachable and genuinely curious about the stories of our guests, regularly surprising them with thoughtful touches they didn’t expect. Even when challenges arise, you’ll remain positive and solution-focused. Beyond guest relations, you’ll be commercially minded and comfortable with upselling — and yes, you’ll enjoy it! You’ll also handle essential administrative tasks, from preparing for VIP arrivals to generating daily reports, and you’ll be an expert in Opera Cloud.

In a nutshell: You’ll turn routine tasks into exciting challenges, always greeting guests with a smile — whether in person or over the phone. Additionally, you’ll manage the ALL loyalty program, serving as the main point of contact for our loyal members, and assisting the Front Desk with check-ins and check-outs as needed.

• Has an outgoing and helpful personality;

• Is flexible in their availability, able to work both morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends;

• Holds an MBO degree in hospitality or tourism;

• Has at least one year of experience in Front Office or Guest Relations;

• Has strong communication skills in both Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus);

• Has knowledge of PMS systems (such as Opera), preferred but not required.
