Job summary

INK Hotel Amsterdam - MGallery is seeking a Guest Relations Officer to join our Front Office team. You’ll be the primary contact for guests, crafting memorable stays and delivering personalised touches, including managing the ALL loyalty program and upselling when appropriate.

You should have at least one year of Front Office or Guest Relations experience, an MBO degree in hospitality or tourism, and strong Dutch and English communication. Opera Cloud knowledge is a plus.

• Willingness to work flexible morning/evening shifts on weekdays and weekends.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; additional languages a plus.

The Script

As a Guest Relations Officer at INK Hotel Amsterdam, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our guests. You’ll ensure every guest enjoys a memorable stay, crafting unique experiences and unforgettable moments. With your genuine passion for hospitality, you’ll make every stay INKredible. You’ll be approachable and genuinely curious about the stories of our guests, regularly surprising them with thoughtful touches they didn’t expect. Your name will be mentioned in countless glowing reviews.

Even when challenges arise, you’ll remain positive and solution-focused. Beyond guest relations, you’ll be commercially minded and comfortable with upselling — and yes, you’ll enjoy it! You’ll also handle essential administrative tasks, from preparing for VIP arrivals to generating daily reports, and you’ll be an expert in Opera Cloud.

In a nutshell: You’ll turn routine tasks into exciting challenges, always greeting guests with a smile — whether in person or over the phone. Additionally, you’ll manage the ALL loyalty program, serving as the main point of contact for our loyal members, and assisting the Front Desk with check-ins and check-outs as needed.

Role

• Has an outgoing and helpful personality;
• Is flexible in their availability, able to work both morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends;
• Holds an MBO degree in hospitality or tourism;
• Has at least one year of experience in Front Office or Guest Relations;
• Has strong communication skills in both Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus);
• Has knowledge of PMS systems (such as Opera), preferred but not required.
