Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Operations Agent for Road shipments in Amsterdam. You will coordinate international road freight end-to-end, provide accurate quotations, set schedules, and manage documentation, tracking, and billing to meet customer requirements.

You will ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards, while collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams to maintain KPI targets and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years of experience as a Road Freight Forwarder.
• Fluent English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office; Cargo Wise experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international road freight end-to-end with accurate quotations and scheduling.
• Prepare profitable quotations and set shipping schedules with customers and carriers.
• Track shipments, communicate delays, and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle import/export processes and ensure compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Bill shipments in accordance with company guidelines and timelines.
• Collaborate with sales, partners, and internal teams to meet customer requirements.
