Job summary

Vanderlande seeks an experienced QHSE Process Improvement Manager to lead global QHSE design and process optimization within the Quality Health Safety and Environment team. This role drives the Target Operating Model across Europe and North America with a focus on continuous improvement and standard work.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Warehousing, Project Execution, Procurement, Engineering, Site operations and Data Analytics to optimize QHSE processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in QHSE related discipline or process improvement. Master's preferred.
• Knowledge and application of standards (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO50001)
• Business Process Management: Strong understanding of BPM methodologies and process modelling tools (SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with proven ability to manage improvement programs and influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Project Management: plan, execute, and monitor activities, ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional coordination
• Facilitator & Negotiator: guide informed decisions and build consensus across teams.
• Analytical Thinking: detail-oriented, identify gaps and propose improvements
• Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification preferred
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Global QHSE Design: Lead the optimization of QHSE capabilities aligned with strategic business goals to reduce QHSE issues proactively.
• Improve and Optimize processes: Identify improvement opportunities and prioritize projects with most impact on QHSE maturity.
• Define Standard Work: Document process workflow for deliverables and accountability.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Stakeholders: ensure buy-in on process design across the value stream.
• Change Management and Training: facilitate adoption of new processes and standards in EU and US facilities.
• Implement KPIs to monitor process performance and report across regions.
• Execute internal audits and drive corrective actions to improve compliance.
• Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement and Best Practices.
