Job summary

Moog is seeking a QHSE Specialist to be the on-site hub for all quality, safety, health and environmental matters in Amsterdam, NL. You will translate global policies into local procedures and lead EHS programs to strengthen safety culture.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with MVK/HVK or equivalent, and at least 3 years of QHSE experience in manufacturing. Dutch and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering or related field.
• MVK/HVK vocational training or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of QHSE experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills; collaborative problem solving.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site contact for all EHS matters and the quality management system.
• Translate regulations and policies into local procedures and work instructions.
• Develop and implement EHS programs and safety culture initiatives.
• Lead RI&E plan, EHS introductions, trainings and toolbox sessions.
• Audit and analyze quality processes; drive continuous improvement.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other standards; promote awareness.
• Collect ESG data and drive sustainability initiatives.
• Organize internal training and contribute to facility improvements.
• Draft and implement EHS and facility policies to meet regulations.
