Job summary

DENS is looking for a strategic QHSE Manager to shape the QHSE function at our Helmond site. You will work with engineering, production and service to embed quality, safety and environmental practices into daily work.

This role combines hands-on shop-floor presence with boardroom responsibilities, driving ISO certifications, risk assessments, audits and cross-country growth in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master in safety, environmental science, industrial engineering or similar.
• Several years of QHSE experience in a technical manufacturing or installation environment.
• Proven experience with ISO certifications and audits.
• Fluent Dutch and English; strong communication on all levels.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset; practical on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organise the QHSE function: baseline assessment and priorities.
• Support growth from a QHSE perspective across more countries and customers.
• Achieve and maintain ISO standards and certifications.
• Embed quality, safety and environment in daily engineering, production and service.
• Advise management, engineering and production where standard offers no ready-made answer.
• Carry out risk assessments, incident analyses, audits and workplace inspections, and implement improvements.
• Guide customer and certification audits.
• Train colleagues: safety as a habit rather than a checklist.
