Job summary

Quaker Houghton seeks a Regional Quality Management System Leader (EMEA) to drive continuous improvement of quality programs across the EMEA region. You will report to the Global Quality Assurance Leader and provide strategic direction, technical leadership, and hands-on guidance to ensure QMS excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Management with regional or multi-site leadership responsibilities.
• Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related standards.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline; advanced degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the regional lead and advocate for QMS performance and continuous improvement.
• Execute the corporate QMS vision and strategy within the region.
• Lead and develop the regional QMS team, balancing strategy with hands-on contribution.
• Define and implement regional QMS roadmaps (3–5-year horizon).
• Coordinate and maintain QMS certifications and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Manage internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Drive QMS training and capability development across the region.
• Travel up to 25% within the region and internationally as required.
