Job description

• Lead the optimization of QHSE capabilities aligned with strategic business goals
• Reduce QHSE issues proactively and address root causes for permanent solutions
• Identify improvement opportunities and prioritize high-impact QHSE process maturity projects
• Define and document standard work and process workflows
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Warehousing, Project Execution, Procurement, Engineering, Site Operations, and Data Analytics teams
• Secure stakeholder buy-in on process design across the value stream
• Facilitate change management and support training initiatives in EU and US facilities
• Implement KPIs to monitor process performance, turnaround time, and employee workload
• Report process performance regularly across regions
• Execute internal audits and drive corrective actions to improve compliance with Supply QHSE processes
• Drive closure of corrective actions and update QHSE documentation
• Promote continuous improvement and lead CI initiatives
• Monitor trends and incorporate best practices into QHSE processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in QHSE related discipline or process improvement
• Master's preferred
• Knowledge and application of ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO50001 standards
• Strong understanding of BPM methodologies and process modelling tools, including SIPOC and Value Stream Mapping
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage improvement programs and influence at all levels of the organisation
• Project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, resource allocation, risk management, and cross-functional coordination
• Ability to guide informed decisions, negotiate with stakeholders, and build consensus
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• At least 5 years practical experience in a QHSE related discipline, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with implementation and audit of QMS/SMS/EMS
• Proven track record of designing and implementing business processes
• Proficient in problem-solving techniques including 8D, 5 Whys, and FMEA
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean frameworks
• Ability to take initiative and lead projects with minimal supervision
• Inclusive team player who values diverse perspectives
• Results-oriented and able to drive measurable improvements timely
• Must be based in the Netherlands, Spain, or the USA
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the respective country at the time of applying
