Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a global healthcare technology organisation to service and repair medical devices across EMEA and APAC. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, tests and preventive maintenance while ensuring accurate documentation and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple repairs with deadlines in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• MBO4+ qualification in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in repair, maintenance, workshop or technical service environments.
• Proven troubleshooting experience with electronic, electromechanical or medical devices.
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is a strong advantage.
• Ability to prioritise multiple repair activities while meeting service deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in an international environment.
• High level of accuracy when documenting service actions and technical findings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on medical devices and approved third-party products.
• Repair, functional testing and preventive maintenance activities.
• Configure, upgrade and commission new and existing equipment.
• Refurbish returned devices to approved quality and performance standards.
• Assess warranty eligibility and determine the correct repair process.
• Prepare quotations for non-warranty customer repairs.
• Record failures, repairs and service activities accurately in SAP and service systems.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support to customers and colleagues by phone.
• Contribute to LEAN improvement projects using DMAIC, PDSA and related methodologies.
