Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Operations Agent High-Tech to support global operations, including quoting, tracking & tracing, vendor relations, problem resolution and high-level customer service. This role requires expertise in international air operations, QMS compliance, ocean service liaison and report generation.

You will coordinate across domestic and international shipments, ensuring SLA adherence and effective communication with customers and carriers.

Qualifications

High School Degree or equivalent.
3–5 years of freight forwarding experience, preferably Airfreight.
Able to work collaboratively or autonomously.
Team player who respects teammates.
Strong customer service orientation across diverse clients.
Fluent in spoken and written English; other European languages a plus.
CargoWise software experience a plus.
Knowledge of ITAR, Dangerous Goods, or TSA regulations.
VGB security clearance or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Act as primary contact for designated customers and manage project outcomes.
Track shipments daily, quote, route, and resolve issues.
Maintain shipment notes and status codes in AIT systems.
Support night/weekend coverage with other customer service teammates.
Coordinate quoting and routing across Domestic & International.
Handle inquiries by phone and email within 1 hour.
Assist local sales and other offices with freight issues.
Ensure adherence to SLA/KPI/SOPs; execute Dangerous Goods shipments where applicable.
Contribute to safe work environment by reporting unsafe conditions.
