Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre invites an HR intern to join a diverse, international team. You will support onboarding, administration, and respond to staff inquiries while learning core HR processes in a luxury hotel setting.

As an MBO/HBO student, you will participate in recruitment activities, help create job profiles, post vacancies, interview candidates, and assist with school visits and staff events. The role offers hands-on development in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO student available for a minimum of 20 weeks, 5 days a week.
• Experience or interest in HR recruitment and administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with selecting and hiring activities: create function profiles, open/close positions on websites, inform candidates about application steps.
• Assist with selecting and hiring trainees: conduct interviews and liaise with schools.
• Help organize staff events (Christmas drink, Sinterklaas, staff party).
• Assist with school visits organization.
• Handle daily HR administrative tasks for new and departing employees.
• Support daily HR tasks and update personal files.
• Be available for questions on labor law, collective agreement, contract, etc.
• Welcome new employees with paperwork and hotel tour.
• Assist with organizing personal employee events (birthdays, work anniversaries).
