Job summary

Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre in Amsterdam is seeking a supervisor to oversee restaurant, Lobby & Lounge Bar, and room service with a multinational team. You’ll ensure guests are delighted by food and beverage service, train staff, and manage daily operations during shifts.

You will monitor quality, handle guest feedback, and coordinate with the Restaurant & Bar Manager to conduct staff evaluations and maintain smooth service flow. A dynamic hospitality environment awaits.

Qualifications

• The appropriate food & beverage knowledge, such as wine and cocktails knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as restaurant & bar waiter in a hotel.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Dutch language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and ensuring hospitable service for food and beverage options.
• Handling complex questions, complaints or feedback from guests.
• Supervising and training employees.
• Preparing drinks and taking orders while conversing with guests.
• Setting up restaurant for dinner or cleaning after breakfast.
• Refilling drinks in the bar to ensure availability.
